Paracord & Printemps
Paracord has been top of mind this summer for me and I found these sandals and was instantly sold. From an Italian brand Flòwze these are super comfortable thanks to the cushioned bottom and give off the perfect beachy carefree vibe. I opted for the red and brown color way but also am all over the blue and brown. They will be securing a spot in my suitcase for Corsica.
Another great episode from Fashion People delving into Jonathan Anderson's appointment at Dior. This episode got me jazzed and highlighted truly what a feat this is for him and for fashion history.
Finally got to check out Printemps and it did not disappoint. The interiors were stellar, every room was more breathtaking than the next and no detail went missed. I can echo the crowd when I say stock was sparse but it's worth the trip just for the design itself. That being said the beauty department was stocked with a bunch of intriguing brands I hadn't heard of before. Stopped for a quick bite and the food also got high notes from me. Bonus consumption callout for these Valentino sandals, again paracord frenzy.
Schmuck in the East Village is also worth the hype. The banana drink I got was a bit mind blowing. It tasted potently of bananas and very little of vodka, somehow still felt very light despite having all the qualities of a creamy tropical drink, I don't know what the sorcery was happening behind the bar to create this.
This big *ss necklace I ordered on Etsy a few months ago (that finally made it to my doorstep after being lost in the mail) made its debut this weekend. Honestly it was the look entirely in itself. I threw on a plain black dress and this made me wedding ready.
Another hyped product that is worth it, the Alec’s Pistachio Crunch ice cream. I am a long time pistachio ice cream lover and this is the chef's version of the Brigham's Pistachio I so fondly grew up on.
