THE Bag?

The perfect bag, does she exist for me? Have I found her?

I have never been a huge bag girl. Shoes, Jackets, Skirts, Jewelry have all led the charge on my splurge list ahead of purses. That's why it's a minorly big deal that this 2010 Loewe Amazona 28 stopped me dead in my tracks during a nightly ebay scroll. It may be because it is reminiscent of a purchase I made at a Coach outlet in high school, but this bag struck a chord. Loewe currently sells the Amazona 28 on their site for $4,200, however, today's version while still having the signature shape lacks the creativity and playfulness that stopped me on my nightly vintage deep dive.

The vintage Amazona’s have it all. They are fun, practical (teetering between the size requirements for a functional everyday bag and the appropriate sized purse for a night out), playful with their color combinations, and a fraction of the price. All reasons why this bag is posed to be my favorite purse yet.
